A lot more comedy and a lot less drama, and more lovable characters. The neighbor Brown was hilarious, and while Madea called him a monkey on the fence, my brother said he reminded him more of a tire. Ya gotta love Cora she puts up with her mother as best as she can without turning into Vickie, and it's hilarious the way Madea goes on about the baby being ugly, and then her singing, 'rock a bye baby on the tree top, we' goin' to the clinic and find out who was on top'. I love this play, it is hilarious.

yea that is a very funny play n i love when Madea was like"Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii I Be Strokin' Dat's What I Be Doin'"

LOL yes I'm glad there are people who agree with me that the play was better than the movie version.

LOL ~ just rewatched to notice how the movie is not too much diff. Within the movie they had to make Cora's character into that sister or auntie character (the one who the pastor wanted) basically since Tyler turned Cora's character into a better person (via later plays). I totally forgot how they did the whole family situation between sisters in the play as I later seen in movie. Prob forgot since the characters in play were more potrayed intense than that of how they were in movie.
