Hi...OK, this is a tiny little thing, and maybe I was dreaming, but I can't make up my mind, because I don't know anything about NYC except what's on the television. In the scene where Bobby and Jonathan are on the roof, and the neighbour is playing opera, when they dance and kiss there's a long shot where you see the NYC skyline in its full summer glory.

I SWEAR I can see the beams of light from the 9/11 monument behind them, which is a huge goof, because the film is set in the early 1980s. But I don't know if the World Trade Centre would be visible from where they're standing (if it wouldn't be, it doesn't matter), or if what I'm seeing really is the twin beams or just some other lights behind them.

Has anyone else noticed this?

No. The building that's lit up red, white & blue is the Empire State Building.
