Getting Annoyed With...

It's not a bad show and I realize that it's a fake show, but the thing that's started to get to me (watching season two right now) is the constant recycling of footage and presenting it as new customers, such as seeing four or five different guys from first season brought back as new Johns or just quick clips to prove a point.

The Sunset Thomas episode was pretty damn bad, consisting of a good seven to ten minutes of previous footage.

Anyone else turned off by this?

I did notice that too.

Most of the "Johns" are fake and in real life many are actors in the porn industry. How many normal people do you know who would let themselves be filmed having sex at a whorehouse and the clips put on TV? Especially since some of the guys are supposed to be married or successful doctors and businessmen.

The prices quoted are mostly BS too. Guys are not paying $2500 for an hour with a girl who is at best a 7. They are pumping up the prices in hopes that losers out in TV land will think that is the real price when they visit.

Overall, I find the show entertaining but at times it is really condescending and insulting to men.

Speaking of Sunset, why was she giving condoms and teaching a bunch of married women to put them on with their mouths? Who wears a condom with their wife! I couldn't tell if the whole thing was staged or it was some sort of nod to prudishness or PC culture.

I find the owner Hof annoying. I mean this guy is a total slime ball, and a showoff. What’s with him asking all the girls to take a dildo and suck it like a dick. He’s always groping and kissing the girls in the mouth. I don’t know about you but if I ever wanted paid sex (never have, probably never will) I would not want any sloppy seconds from that guy (or any other guy). Just like that fossil Hefner, money can’t get you any kind of girl or get them to do anything with you. I guess I can’t hate on them for using their money to get what they want.

What got me was the constant insistence of the ladies that they always and continuously have orgasms with their customers, they are always hot for sex, etc. They act like they'd do it for free because, as they insist, they are all nymphos. (Ever hear of a gal faking an orgasm?) This show is more like a public relations campaign by the cathouse more than it is an honest documentary. Put this show where it belongs--porn, not documentary. I mean, I have nothing against porn. But this nonsense even gives porn a bad name.

I wouldn't take sex advice from anyone who didn't even have a good command of the English language, eg, "Sunset Thomas" and her embarrassing grammar.

Apparently they only filmed there during March and April of a single year so probably they were not able to gather that much usable material.
