The story was very interesting, suspenseful, Hitchcockian.

"The story was very interesting, suspenseful, Hitchcockian. I was intrigued all the way through the film. It really is an original story. Julie and Jack is a kind of film that Mr. Hitchcock would have made. It's kind of 'Vertigo' for the 21st Century. And of course, it was also great seeing all of the Vertigo locations used in the film and seeing Tippi Hedren in her role."

Yes, let the movie "studio" that distributed the piece of garbage post reviews on it. That's unbiased.

AAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHHA
im still laughing at the directors pathetic review of his own movie.

he also wrote his own bio here but this.. this is beyond funny.

he must have put more effort into this "review" that his whole "filmography"

just give up man, the world doesnt need another ed wood
he got famous not just cuz he was the worlds worst director, but cuz he was the worlds FIRST worst director.

and even ed wood died broke and drunk, the fame came too late for him

you have got to be kidding! this movie is horrid trite tripe!

it uses hitchcock locations and tippi but that is where it ends.

the locations are also used in tales of the city and every other project shot in san francisco.

How does one track James down? I have a podcast that has interviewed Jack Perez, Tommy Wiseau among others. I would love to talk to him.

Shut up, James ...

We must have seen a different movie--I saw a crap, badly acted, low-budget flick called Julie and Jack.

This film isn't bad. Sure it's got more flaws than good pointers, but I understood it and felt for the characters and that's something not many filmmakers can achieve nowadays with their *beep* explosions and gunfire etc.

It's more like a mix of "Birdemic: Shock and Terror" and "Birdemic: Shock and Terror".
