shareI was in an animal rights group briefly. I have to say that I found it very psychologically unhealthy to take a view of "all humans are evil", as occurs at the more extreme end of the movement. After a while I just couldn't bear to think like that anymore: you have to think that most of your friends, family, most of the people you meet everyday are all evil. It doesn't give you much enthusiasm for life and everything seemed pointless after a while since humans showed little sign of changing their ways.
