Impressive. It helps if one has some knowledge of history but the presentation of real footage with no commentary is a powerful thing. Germany was in dire straits. Hitler was a politician who used the strong seam of anti-Jewish prejudice along with the economic despair, mixed in nationalism and rose to power. Ending with the burning of the books is a good image.
