Who is the guy?

Please somebody help, I would like to figure it out who is that guy with the narrative part of Comfortably Numb. It is not shown in the credits. If he is Syd Barrett, that would be very touching.

I don't really know who he is, but he must not be Syd, since at the end of the song, David tells the audience: "Thank you very much indeed", turns to look the guy in the wheelchair and says: "and thank you, Robert". He must be some well-known caracter, but couldn't say who.

He's Robert Wyatt. Most definitely not Syd Barrett.
