Having not seen either film, but HAVE been bombarded by all the terrible trailers on pay-per-view and t.v. in general, I suggest that both 'films' should be tossed on top of the rubbish bin and burned, along with Hillary Duff's subpar, lackluster acting (in)abilities. maybe there can be a theatrical third installment
you know, so in the third cody banks, theatrically,
it can be a crossover between this film and a another film
like say, ace ventura
if cody trained rookie agents , for half of the film
then, his chief said "cody, i am sending you on a mission to canada , to hunt down a mad scientist who plots to use a weather machine to destroy animal houses" then of couse , cody would have to go with the rookie agents
and at canada, cody would meet the great pet detective himself, ace ventura
and they would stop at nothing , to stop the mad scientist who tries to blow up animal houses [beaver houses, caves, etc]
and the good thing is, it would be completely intertwined
it would swtich from the normal storyline, to the ace ventura-like storyline
and it would have more humor than normal
and the good thing is, if one of the rookie agents distracted the mad scientist by doing some impressions of famous characters
like harry callahan from dirty harry or some other impressions
or do a funny parody on titanic during this film involving cody and natalie
in conclusion, this would be a good idea

Actually, the first Cody Banks movie was MGM's most profitable film of that year (note I said profitable rather than highest grossing). Hence, the second one was put into production so quickly. Box Office Gross alone is not a reliable indicator of a film's success - you have to factor in DVD and TV sales to work that out. I'm guessing MGM made some profit on Cody Banks 2, although not as much as on the first one.

my favorit topic for a 3rd movie would be the revenge of molai...
in the end of the 1st movie molai answered cody who apologized for ruining his haircut: not as sorry as you are going to be...
i was so exited for a second movie couse i understood it as a sign, but no he goes to london and nathalie is gone. great...
so in my mind the best thing they can do is forget the 2nd movie completly give molai the role of the bad guy and bring nathalie back as a junior secret agent.
i think there may well be a third movie. The series is losely based on the Alex Rider books by Anthony Horrowitz. The book sixth installment has just been released this year and while thw second flopped i think they will try and milk the series as much as possiable!

on wikipedia, frankie muniz told the public that he won't do an agent cody banks 3, because he's getting too old to play as a 15 year old like cody.

But in a Disney Magazine, it had an interview with Frakie Muniz and they asked him if there was going to be a Cody Banks 3. He said that he didn't know but if their was one, than he hoped that he would be able to suba-dive in it.

How about this?
One day, Cody is walking (merrily) through the streets of his home town, Seattle Washington, with his lovely girlfriend, Natilie, who returned somewhere off screen. Randomly, a ninja appears in front of them and after stabbing Natilie repeatidly and killing her, he kills Cody and then the world is a much better place and we can all rest better knowing that there can't be an Angent Cody Banks number 4 because the main character is dead.
