i don't think hilary is going to be in this movie, cuz she is just one of the people he saves. like if superman was to save someone in one movie, they wouldn't put that person in the second movie, would they?

When she tries to make surprised faces they look like someone´s pinching her feet.And her tone of voice on various scenes are bad.For example in The first cody banks when Cody gives her the gift and she opens it she says "Wow...It´s beautiful" she say´s it awfully chirpy and her face is trying to express like surprise or sentiment.I´m sure the right tone is low and sweet.Not loud and cheery.

I can't disagree with your Hilary Duff comments. I've been equally unimpressed with her acting and I agree that she probably won't be around for long.
But you ought to think things through a little better before you start rambling.

I can't say that I'm a fan of hers, but you can't seriously compare her to Vanilla Ice. She makes more money in 15 minutes than you or I will make in our entire lives. And in the 4(?) years since her first CD came out she has only gotten bigger. She has penetrated every aspect of pop culture. Music, movies, books, toys, you name it, she makes money off it. As for her longevity, there's still a possibility you could be right, but she's already way outlasted most examples of that sort of fad. After about 4 years she's shown no sign of fading out. I read last week that her album sales (for only 3 discs) already have surpassed many rock 'n' roll legends who've been around for more than 20 years.
hilary duff will definitly fade out. She is most likely gonna be a perfect example of what happened to britney spears. Britney was this good girl that everyone loved and she was different, just like hilary. but eventually they dug up dirt on her(ie: boob job) and then she got a bad rep and lost her dear virginity to JT. the press will dig up something big no doubt on hilary, like maybe shes cheating on aaron carter, or maybe even drug abuse(j/k), so...yeah. plus i totally agrees w/ u guys that her acting sux. Plus she has the voice of a 2nd grader and it only suits the role of lizzie mcguire.

I just got information. As you may or may not have known, Hilary Duff will NOT return in the Cody Banks sequel. Apparently, they want a new "Banks girl" every movie (like in the James Bond series, and they were both made by MGM). The new "Banks girl" will be Hannah Spearritt, a former member of S Club 7. Thought I'd give you guys the heads-up.

wow you people disappoint me. it took you all that long to figure out that she is just a banks girl and won't be in the sequel. and i think the idea of her becoming an agent would give the movie a spy kids vibe and ruin a movie that already has the potential to suck royally. i liked the first, but james bond, works alone, and if they are trying to keep a james bond feel to the movies than he should work alone. even if it seems that much more cooler when he escapes and slaps the tar out of the bad guys. the movies should eventually eveolve to the point where cody banks is older... like james bond old, and then they can make it an american james bond flick. then all of the rejects from the bond movies can go and be in a bond style movie. then again, maybe not. in fact, completely disregard my previous thought about the movies evolving. they shouldn't. that was a dumb idea.

shareActually incording to Star Magazine, the reason she's not in it, is when they were together (Frankie, Hillary) in the first one they were friends, than Frankie wanted Hillary to be his Girlfriend, and she didn't like hime like that, and Frankie never got over it, and they stopped being friends because he wouldn't forgive her.

But look on the bright side at least Frankie Muniz is in the sequel! This kinda reminds me when Universal Pictures was doing 2 Fast 2 Furious, must people were wondering where's Vin Diesel? The reason why Vin Diesel wasn't in The Fast and The Furious sequel is because he was busy doing another movie at the time when 2 Fast 2 Furious was in post-production.
