Isn't horror, it's a drama. And a good one.
shareYeah, I mean I'll admit that I thought that it was a pointless and very long movie. You see, I saw these at Best Buy and it was being portrayed as a horror movie...so I bought it and expected a horror movie.
But it wasn't and I just didn't like.
Then I tried to watch it a second time with my girlfriend, who also loves foreign films...she didn't like it either.
But then just yesterday, I decided to give it another try and I actually like it. Beautifully acted, written and painstankingly realized onscreen, it has to be one of the best drama/thrillers that I've ever seen. I actually paid attention to the film and understood the plot. It's a very depressing movie, but in the good way. :)

Yeah, I thought the three ghosts represented the guy's guilt as he could have saved all three if he acted (instead he balked out of self-interest). Now, he is stuck surrounded by that guilt eating at a table rebuilt in a vain attempt to placate his fiancee who is probably never coming back (and whose leaving will probably doom his "father"'s church finances).
You reap what you sow (even if you standby and do nothing).
Go watch some more Michael "Talentless Piece Of Crap" Bay movies, go watch Crapformers again, or his stupid dumb idiotic brain dead stupidity complete cinematic failures "The Texas Chainsaw Travestry" and "The Hitcher In Name Only" remakes he produced, and leave the truly good movies to those who can appreciate them.

It's psychological thriller involving no ghosts nor zombies.
It might be better if they use the story with different director, and casts.
