Ted doesn't seem very gay to me, but I doubt any of them would have misrepresented themselves for such an important cause. I mean you would have had to have been really sleazy to do something like that. And I'm sure that if I bothered to look it up on Wikipedia or something, I'd see he either has a serious partner, had one, or at the very least has never been romantically linked to a woman.
