Rate the guys

I'll admit it, I'm a fan of this show. But I gotta say, some of the guys are kind of worthless. In your opinion, who was the best and the worst additions to the show.

My personal rank from best to worst:

1. Tom: Let's face it, he's got the most talent and does the most work on the show as far as start to finish. He has to conceputalize the house, pick out all the furniture and accessories, etc., and it always looks fabulous. Not to mention he has some of the best one-liners.

2. Kyan: He tells the guys how it is with hair and skin care. He's also pretty funny, and I love when he goes all Zen when they're in spas.

3. Ted: I really like Ted, and I think he's super talented, but it doesn't seem like he does a lot as far as teaching these guys anything. he usually picks out one recipe and calls it a day. Great sense of humor though.

4. Jai: I like Jai, but he doesn't do much. I think one episode his primary responsibility was to pick out CDs for a guy. Another episode talked about eye contact. Real basic stuff. I could do that. Fun personality, but I could do without him.

5. Carson: Is it just me or is he the worst stylist out there? I cringe when he dresses some of these guys. Every once in a while he hits a strong note with an outfit, and it's usually a basic button down with some dark wash jeans and a blazer. Nothing too exciting. I think he once put a guy in one of those lame visors and cheesy sunglasses and I wanted to throw up in my mouth a little. He has some good one-liners but overall I find his personality annoying.

jai is the eye candy, thats pretty much it. the producers realized that none of the other four were all that great looking and hired jai in.

What? Jai is adorable, yes, but Kyan is hands down Hot. I always lay the blame with the producers that Jai had nothing to do. Culture is such a vague term, what do you do that the other four haven't?

I'm SO with you on that one. I'm a straight woman, but Kyan always got my blood pumping! :) Jai was adorable, and certainly attractive, but Kyan was the one I was always attracted to. Yum.

I love them all in no particular order. It's really more about the helplessness of the straight dude more than it is the Fab 5 not bringing much to the table but here goes!

Tom shows guys how to clean and decorate their dump of an apartment. I do agree that Tom does do the most if you consider all the cleaning, shopping, painting etc.

Carson shows them how to dress themselves in something other than a heavy metal t-shirt. Although I don't always agree with the style, I would say Carson next only because he has to pull together an entire new wardrobe for these guys.

Ted shows them how to make a couple of appetizers. Ted would be third because although he does seem to start them out with pretty basic stuff, the straight guys still have a tendency to screw it up somehow.

Kyan teaches them how to work various hair products into their daily regimen - oh and how to not shave against the grain. Although Kyan(whom we do appreciate any time there is a tanning or waxing session and he sports his bikinis) is fourth because he just gives them a refresher course on exfoliation and that it's okay to go to the spa even if you are straight.

Jai (as sChi said) helps them pick out a CD or teaches them better manners. I agree that a lot of what he says is more common sense but again, depends on how much help the straight guy needs. He does hook them up with concert tickets or some amazing date at times. That being said, he doesn't have the most strenuous of tasks compared to the others unless he's helping plan a wedding.

Why so many straight guys need help with these things is unclear, but it makes for a very entertaining show!
