Seagal script and Artie Lange's story

This is for Howard Stern fans. Artie Lange, a member of the Stern show, tells a hilarious story involving Steven Seagal. One of his actor friends told it to him.

Essentially, his friend encountered Seagal on a set. He was walking-out of his trailer and made a comment, "I've just finished reading the greatest script of all time." Lange's friend asked him, "Oh really? Who wrote it." And, Seagal replied, "I did."

It's a funny story when you hear Lange tell it, but I'm wondering: Was this the script?!? It's so shamelessly complementary of Seagal's character, I think it has to be. The scene where he's looking at the sword with the Japanese character, and the latter's saying, "You are the best! Noone is better than you! You are so great!" The look on Seagal's face is priceless, "Yes, but I don't like to fight." I can just seem him writing this out: I'm a badass, but I'm humble.

I miss Will Sasso doing Seagal on MadTV. That was a frickin' RIOT.
