I really like this film about Johnny Cash. J. Phoenix did a great job of singing along with Reese. Phoenix had Cash's mannerisms down perfectly including how he held the guitar. At first I thought they dubbed in Cash's voice but in the credits it stated that Phoenix did the singing.

shareI still remember going to see this film in the theater. I absolutely LOVED it and was legitimately angry when it was over because I was having such a good time watching it.
The entire cast do an excellent job and the film is so well written and directed. I knew very little about Johnny Cash before the film and came out more curious about the man and his music.
Walk the Line is an easy contender for best biopic of all time, and certainly for best biopic of a musician. The only two I can think of off the top of my head that I'd say are in the same league are Ray and Coal Miner's Daughter.
I have to catch Ray sometimes.
