Two uestions about the Folsom Prison scene...(spoilers)

While performing "Cocaine Blues" at the end of the movie, what is with the inmate yelling "I was dressed in black" before the line is sung? When I first saw this movie, I thought that maybe you could heard an inmate yelling that on the recording, but you can't. In fact, Cash's whole speech about getting arrested is not from the recording. Although he does allude to the water being cloudy, something about it being used to previously clean the warden' shoes at one point.

And why is the whole song not featured?! Just another line or two and it would've been finished!

I thought I missed it! So it wasn't included in the film? Too bad. It's one of my favorite Cash songs.

It shows they actually knew his songs and how excited they were about him performing. But I also assumed maybe you could hear it in the original recording.

And they probably recorded the whole thing, but cut it for whatever reason

I wondered about that also.
