I'm surprised this never got a sequel

But it would be impossible without robin Williams

I believe I've seen movies that cracked me up like Robots. But yeah, I wondered how this never got a sequel. Because this was a very good movie, even if it was more lively than I expected, I actually quite enjoyed it. But yeah, it's hard to pull off a good Fender without Robin.

While I personally enjoyed it (even as an adult I still find it pretty good), I think critics and general audiences were expecting something more from it, so maybe the movie wasn't as well-received as the studio needed, or it simply didn't make enough money.

I just saw this for the first time. It was so good! The writing was on point and so clever. A bunch of really clever gags and wordplay rolled in there.
Even if it is a bit formulaic, it was a great movie. Don't understand why it's more popular and so underrated.

And yeah, I will miss Robin forever and ever...

plot is terrible and so is the pacing even if the dialogue & pop culture references were executed decently
