I thoroughly enjoyed Silver Hawk. In reality, though you are partially right, this film is much lighter in tone than Batman (I must admit here I haven't yet seen Batman Begins). Silver Hawk was fun to watch and they did a great job with it. Batman is a very serious character - he became what he is because of a great tragedy in his life. Silver Hawk became what she is out of a need to defend the weak. She did not have a similar, dark background. And she was already highly skilled by the time she was a child - something Bruce Wayne had to work his ass off to become.

I like them both, and I really enjoyed Silver Hawk.

Yes this is what is missing from Batman movies. I just saw Silver Hawk and loved it. The Michael Keaton Batman did a little martial arts in the first one, now it's time to see him do get down like he does in the comics. Silver Hawk was great as I love to see the beautiful Michelle Yeoh in action.

Well, yeah, obviously it's insprired by Batman. But this is lighter in tone and stars the incredibly hot Michelle Yeoh. There hasn't been a good Batman since Adam West...

Oh, I don't know - Batman Begins wasn't bad, and neither was the first one. But this definitely is a fun movie compared to the Batman series, an enjoyable one for sure.

Agreed that Silverhawk was Hong Kong's version of Batman, just with a female lead and enough differences to call it original.

However... you have to be hitting that crack pipe pretty hard to think that Adam West was good as Batman.

Keaton was ok...but just not a dark enough person to pull it off.
Kilmer...getting better
Clooney...someone was smoking the good dope that day (don't forget the nipples on the batsuit)
Bale...Best batman yet.

I would love to see a batman movie set in the future...70-80 year old batman with a protege...kinda like batman beyond is in cartoons.

Eastwood would be perfect for that role.

Forget Batman. I swear Silver Hawk is a rip-off of Black Canary. Michelle had the bird theme and kinda resembled B.C.'s Birds of Prey look and the bad chick was wearing fishnets and a wig.

Well I've not even seen Silver Hawk yet but even I can see the similarities between this and Batman.

Batman: A masked/caped vigilante with state of the art weaponry and technology protecting the innocent at night and a billionaire industrialist/playboy by day

Silver Hawk: A masked/caped female vigilante with state of the art weaponry and technology protecting the innocent at night and a sexy billioniare adrenaline junkie by day.
