Me too. it's the first game I ever got for xbox when it first came out along with Morrowind and doom 3. To be honest, halo 2 is my favorite game from the original trilogy. Halo 3 was good but it was really hard and repetitive. The multiplayer was the best part about it
shareI thought this was my favorite Halo, and then I realized I only enjoyed the early game New Mombasa parts. I guess this is why I like ODST so much, and Reach--which features New Alexandria, is very similar.
Halo 2's ending is brutal and should never have been allowed to end like that. Imagine finishing the game in November 2004 and having to wait until September 2007 to see content that was originally in Halo 2 magically show up in Halo 3's opening levels, and not only that, you have to buy a new console called XBOX 360 to see it. LOL. Oh wait, I lived that.
I also don't really like the forced use of dual wield. Weapon power is diminished if you only hold a single weapon, and if you carry two weapons, the moment you toss a grenade your second weapon falls on the floor.
