Opening scene was excellent - the rest was woeful.

The cloak on the chair was just brilliant. Unfortunately it went swiftly down hill from there on. The biggest reason this film failed though was revealing the imaginery terror's face, where the Boogeyman should have remained just that - imaginery... each person has their own version of what horror the Boogeyman looks like, and to be quite frank this film made it look like something right out of the circus.

I was thinking exactly the same thing, the clothes dropping to the floor when he turned the light on was genius. Talk about blowing your wad in the first few minutes.

I know when a film is as super average as this. When it takes half the film for me to realise, I've already seen it.

I used to have a Willem Dafoe & a boogeyman living under my bed.
