I am shocked I saw this at the theater.

Unlike alot of teenagers, I don't go see every stupid horror movie that comes out but I saw alot of trailers for this movie on tv and it looked like it might be pretty cool and I made a effort to get 3 of my friends to go see it with me.This turned out to be one of the worst movies I had ever seen, the only good part was when he was chasing the boogey man around and this movie wasn't scary at all and I have no idea why they made this movie and I think the idea was good but this film was just awful.

Don't ever call me a kubrick hater, or I will have my droogs beat you to death.

i have no idea what this genre this film falls into either.. lol hmm no it's not horror, oh please, its not thriller, oh it's not action.. only if there's a genre called boring, maybe that's it... yeah i dont watch every scary movie that comes out either.. and i so happened to watch this.. so sad.. wasted my precious time with my friends.. we could've been out drinking

oh damn, this is bright.

I had the UNpleasure of seeing this in theaters back in '05 as well...mainly because of Raimi & Tapert's name on it...thought they'd only finance movies in THEIR vain...instead what I saw had me switching a$$ cheeks throughout the whole flick...can't believe I actually FINISHED it instead of walking out.

Someone gave me the DVD for free and I revisited it between yesterday & today as a "benefit of the doubt" watch....nope...still a snooze fest & still as sucky as ever! 2/10

Raimi's own movies are questionable experiences, though the majority I enjoy. However, I don't trust movies he produces. All those crappy Grudge sequels should be prime example. They are horrid.

Me too! I think I must have been originally meant to see something else. This is the worst film I've ever seen at the cinema (apart from Katy Perry's film which felt like one long advert and of whom I'm not actually that big a fan).
