Starring 'The double of Steven Seagal'

I will be very honest, i am a fan of Seagal movies. Yes his best stuff is 90% the old movies from Above the Law to maybe Exit Wound. But i enjoyed a lot of his 2000s movies. Today you Die, Half Past Dead, A Dangerous Man, Driven to Kill... Yes he did some pretty awfull ones as well(Attack Force for exemple) , some i don't even know why he was in it at all, like Against the Dark... not a bad movie if you like horror zombie movies, but Seagal in it... why? lol. And there the ones that where ok but nothing impressive like Flight of Fury, The Foreigner...

Of course this is all subjective opinions, but this one i really finished the movie and was like "HUH ok..." its not that its bad... its entertaining and a decent Seagal flick... if you can say that, but the part where his stunt double did the work where just like "wtf did i just saw" !! I mean when the Stunt Double of Bruce Willis do his Die Hard action parts, its totally believable, they want to keep the actor safe, and Bruce was totally in shape and COULD do these stunts himself in a degree if he was a stunt man. But here you have Steven Seagal who is not very young, and chubby... and then he fight like Bruce Lee? LOL sure the fights where good by themselves but nobody can believe Hopper(Seagal Character) did them...

Then you have the spiritual stuff.. wich i tough was just not nessary at all, its not like this crazy shaman at the end really had a big part in the movie... we don't even know who he is anyway...

I would had prefer if this movie was more like Taken with Liam Neeson, after all its pretty much the same story in the background, but it kinda try to take a spiritual side too and it fail miserably...

2 big laught too... there is the ninja fight in the middle, where Hopper's "bro" finish the fight all sweaty(thats right) but Seagal is all fresh like nothing hapenned... this made me laught badly. And the love interest... ok if your a Seagal fan, you know he always score a chick in pretty much every movie he make, even if the girl look 10 time out of his league, but well... cmon.

Anyway in the end a decent entertaining Seagal movie, but seriously i prefer if he stays in the "Aikido" category, use the double if really nessary but make it believable that a guy his shape can do the fights. Seagal double doing some crazy kung fu spin kicks that looks like they where done by Scott Adkins is just too much.

Alice is the worst character of all time, she need to die in the last movie. Chris/Jill are RE !!!

LOL I know this is an old post, but this is playing right now and I was gonna make a post about this cuz I thought it was funny.

They shoulda called this movie "Belly of Steven Seagal". What's funny is the fact that his stunt double looks to be about 60 lbs lighter, and has noticeably more tone in the arms than Seagal. It's real distracting during fight scenes, cuz they'll switch from stunt double to Seagal about 10 times within a few minutes.
