If he reaps his vengeance, than so be it. The media viewed 'Tough Crowd' with jaundiced eyes, and deserves to be punished.

I think it was just scripted, but I can't believe that he isn't the least bit sad about it ending. He kept talking about how he's glad the show wasn't going to be shown. Yeah right. He was the executive producer- it was his vision, his baby. You know how people sometimes lie about how this doesn't bother them when it actually did. I think that's what it was. I felt so sorry for him, I almost let a tear out. That was one of the saddest things I've seen on tv.

What vengeance is he going to reap?

not only colin, but the rest of em as well... It was weird seeing ppl so down on that show. I dont see why it got cancelled, whereas alot of other shows arent half as funny.

Ace: What are you gonna do? Shoot us all?
Gordie: No Ace, just you.

Maybe NBC'll give him one of their bankrupt shows playing at 930 on wednesdays. Maybe.

I couldn't agree with you more. I would stay up and watch this show every night....I stopped for a few days every once in a while when i wouldn't be home...and i just happened to catch the show before the last one...and when i found out i was so sad. I love this show. it was funny, smart, stupid at times...i hope it comes out on DVD....but i don't really know the chances of that happening....i totally support your HBO idea....i watch bill maher on it all the time and think ccolin quinns show would be better because then it wouldn't be censored....i shall keep my fingers crossed....

the right wing? Colin was right wing. if anything, it was the left that caused the demise of this show. Both the extreme left and right hated this show because Colin & company didn't care about being a democrat or being a republican, they just were honest. something neither the left or right is.

Well, it's not so much that Colin was right wing that bothered me, so much as that he blamed practically everything on liberals.

I'm one of the most liberal people you'd ever meet, but when Colin goes and blames ID requirements so they can track children on school buses on liberals, it just makes me go wtf. I think that such things are ridiculous, but clearly evil gay, atheist, socialist-leaning liberals like me are responsible.

Another thing that bothered me other than their constant and unjustified attacks, was that half the time they seemed to be offensive just for the sake of it. And it wasn't even funny most the time. What's the point in saying stupid and offensive things if they can't even manage to be funny while they're doing it?

And the final thing that bothered me was that EVEN WHEN they were TRYING to be SERIOUS, their arguments were dumb as *beep* most of the time. I guess I shouldn't dislike it so much, since it shows how stupid people with views like Colin and crew are, but then again, I realize that there are people out there who find that just because Colin's honest, that somehow makes him right. And there are people who would be convinced by his arguments. You can be honest but still be making stupid and incorrect arguments, and that's exactly what Colin and crew would do most of the time.

But in summary: Colin & crew attack liberals without reason, are offensive for the sake of it, couldn't string together a coherent argument, and on top of that, they weren't even funny 75% of the time anyway!

Now, the idea for the show in itself wasn't bad... it's just that Colin & crew weren't exactly the best people to choose to be the main people. If they had chosen a more balanced group of people and more INTELLIGENT people, then I would've liked it more. The times when I was most likely to find the show more enjoyable and the discussion more intelligent were almost ALWAYS the times when Colin had some good non-regular guests on.

But maybe that's the reason other people liked it... because they like unintelligent comedy (and I don't mean potty humor by that).

Here's an unjustified attact...Hey, erimir eat *beep* 75% of your're post isn't funny either. Colin and his crew(friends) were the right people for the show. Did'nt you watch the last show? They said they were just a few comics that knew each other real well, and most of the yucks came from them ripping each other. Now some of those jokes went over people's heads because they were'nt watching the show each day or came on board late in the game. You won't see any of these guys at a Mensa meeting (except greg) but that dosen't mean they're unintelligent. Personally I'm independent, so I enjoyed the attacking of both political parties, and attacking you, erimir. Thanks. And I hope Jim Norton lays a steamy hot carl on your chest...

I'm just happy that you found one point to agree with me on(unjustified attack). I never said the post I was attacking was trying to BE funny, I was simply pointing out that it was'nt, and obviusly trying my own hand at humor using tactics I learned from T.C. (potty humor, unjustfied attacks). This clearly went over your head since you have no sence of humor. I know this because you're taking seriously something someone wrote on a message board for a COMEDY show. I'll assume you're an unfunny person(based on you're post) since you said I was'nt an independant. Well, I am, being neither a Republican nor a Democrat. That is the political definition, is it not.
See how you draged me down to your dry level of trying to explain what others are thinking. You kill a mood faster that Colin kills jokes...
