DVD!?!?!?!?

I loved Tough Crowd, and always expected CC to eventually run back to Colin on their knees. Well, Colin's not a 12 year old boy so that's not going to happen. Not only do I hope somebody picks this show up, but I was wondering if a Tough Crowd DVD is available. I'm sure I missed some episodes and even the ones I saw would be funny to watch a second time.
And why was this show cancelled? The regulars are probably the funniest comics of this generation, and it almost seems like they are intentionally underexposed. The cancellation offended me so badly that it still annoys me. They won't even air the reruns when NOTHING ELSE IS ON. I'm curious as to Tough Crowd's ratings, I bet they were roughly equal to the Daily Show's even with the competition from the network late night drek.

Hoo hoo, tell um Fred

Actually Tough Crowd's ratings were reportedly pretty low, and certainly nowhere near the Daily Show's, which is the #2 rated show on the network, behind only South Park.

Colbert Report now is doing far better ratings than Tough Crowd ever did in that timeslot, reportedly keeping something like 85% of the Daily Show's audience.

Yeah, I doubt a full-season DVD would be viable since it was a daily show, but how 'bout a best-of DVD? I do miss this show...it was like Politically Incorrect, only good. And I know he is a bit of an acquired taste, but I sure do wish Colin Quinn had something going on.
It's not that surprising that the Colbert Report is doing better. It is also a funny show, and the fact that it is a spoof of conservative commentators (and quickly becoming more and more biased) and Quinn is a conservative. Of course Daily Show viewers are going to tune out when a Libertarian comes on the screen. As for South Park's success...well, I guess just being funny trumps the fact that it's written by Libertarians.

I'd like to own these on DVD. This show was much more entertaining than The Daily Show and far more entertaining than the dreck airing on CC now.
