Just plain AWFUL

Would someone explain to my why this is called The Other Boleyn girl when a good 80% of the story is about Anne? The premise of learning about the lesser known of the two is what drew me to the story. I am quite well versed in history though thank you, and did not need to see the whole Anne story told from her sister's point of view. The script was really bad and not just because of that. Don't waste your time on this version, and let's hope the new movie being made doesn't make that mistake.

I have only read the beginning of the book, and have not gone back to it in a while. I don't think I will finish it.

Yeah, a lot of people thought it was going to be about Mary. But Mary was only a footnote in the movie. If you think about it Anne originally was "The Other Boleyn girl. It was Mary who was married before Anne,Mary was in court first, and it was Mary who had an affair with the king first,so at that time Anne was the other Boleyn girl. So I guess it truly was about the other Boleyn girl, just not the one you think.LOL!

True, Kades. When Henry is introduced to Anne, he barely acknowledges her and says "Oh, your the other Boleyn girl. . ." and walks away. So I guess you are right!

I feel the book itself is titled the Other Boleyn girl because the book itself focuses on Mary, who is HISTORY'S other Boleyn girl.
