so throughout the ENTIRE movie, Andrew has spoken Spanish and then, when it counts THE MOST.....
he doesn't talk to the cops in Spanish?!?!?

That was one of the few weak points of the movie.. although it could be argued that after all that guy had been through, perhaps he wasn't exactly thinking clearly.
sharethought the same thing. then i wondered if he did it on purpose to be killed.... his parents lost everything, his girlfriend would never forgive, and he is responsible for his best friend dying.... sounds like being killed by a cop is an easy way out for him.
he could have just laid down and let the cops find the gun while he was cuffed. they wouldn't have shot him then.
Good point; I didn't think of that. I'll choose to go with that LOL because otherwise that scene made this good movie end in a pretty senseless way.
