Favorite short?

Personally, I'd have to say The Cowboy & The Frenchman. He can really make a funny movie, with a hint of oddness in it, of course.

I like the Alphabet the best. It's like a Francis Bacon and Jasper Johns collaboration.... animated by Jan Svankmajer.

I'd have to say The Grandmother.

I loved The Grandmother. I also liked The Amputee, though. That was just about the most bizarre thing I have ever seen.

Loved The Alphabet and even more The Amputee.

The DVD cover is amazing also, wish I could have that in a better quality/resolution.

Either The Alphabet or The Grandmother.
I liked the surrealism in the Alphabet better, however, the Grandmother is a better story.

Hard to choose, but i say "The Grandmother"

Johnny: I'm gonna kill a bunch of people.

Grandmother, for me.
For those who like "weird" cinema like this, might I recommend anything by Kenneth Anger?
He has two DVDs of all his short movies.
Very excellent.

My, you're nosey, aren't you?

Yeah I'd say the Cowboy and the Frenchman too. Found it very funny. The Grandmother dragged on a bit too long for me. Actually the Cowboy overstayed its welcome too, but I still liked it.

Second for me was The Alphabet. Nice short bit of creepy weirdness.
