God, how crazy was Joan Cusack's character?!

Fanny Nash, that is. And to think she wasn't even listed in the end credits.

You're so right. I'm buying the dvd just for her painfully funny lines. She's briliant. Couldn't they have used her more in the film?

According to the director's commentary, Joan only shot for 1 day. She was in between movies and could only commit for that one day. She was fantastic. This entire movie is filled with terrific comedic performances. I cannot believe it didn't do well in theaters.

She also has one of my favourite lines in any film:

I am over 35 years old. I am physically unable to bear children. And I pay alimony to my ex-husband, who is a *beep* Yet I am willing to bet that all of you would *beep* me over that desk right now if you knew you'd be having lunch with Harrison Ford as soon as you blew your wad.

Very sexy!
