Meh.

The Pitt-Jolie movie only got hype because of the tabloid hype over Brad and Angelina hooking up during production and his marriage to Jen Aniston. The movie was passably good but not great as well.

Yuck. No thanks.

My thoughts exactly.

More interracial propaganda, and not even attractive people to boot.

This will work only if they make it a full on comedy. They tried the story as a series twice and it failed and the movie only worked because of the comedic elements.

"the movie only worked because of the comedic elements."

That and the two incredibly sexy stars.

Could this mean that Hollywood has finally run out of classics to desecrate?

Another remake? Another race swap ... yay forced diversity. yay rewriting white characters instead of doing something new and original with .. gasps .. new chars.

Anyway it will not work, neither of them is Angelina, or Pitt.

Hollywood has one priority at this point, replace white people.

How it went down, imo:

Donald: We need more blacks, less whites please
Phoebe: I think we need a good balance since Hollywood guidelines says we must represent blacks or POC as 40-60% of the cast even though they're only 13% or higher if you included POC but they rarely do for Asian/Hispanic representation.
Donald: We need more blacks
Phoebe: Okay I think I will just leave this role due to our creative differences
Donald: We need more blacks... I think my new co-star will be black too.
Phoebe: ...

More proof that Hollywood doesn't know how to come up with any original ideas anymore.
