worst brad pitt movie ever?

imo it's his worst movie ever... what do you think?
but for angelina has she ever played a good movie except girl interruted?

reply

Yeah, Playing By Heart is a great movie- really the only movie I've ever thought she was great in.

reply

No, this movie gets better after you see it again. Action, funny lines, Vince Vaughn, Brad and Angelina have undeniable chemistry. I loved Playing by Heart, especially her storyline. Gia and Girl Interrupted both must see but depressing movies.

Seriously? Angelina's been in numerous good films. George Wallace, Gia, Playing By Heart, The Good Shepherd, A Mighty Heart, Wanted, and Changeling are all good films. Especially Changeling, The Good Shepherd, A Mighty Heart, and Gia.

I don't think this is Brad's worst either.

Wanted was a lot like this movie. Dumb action fun.

I think this movie was definitely action satisfaction. Although the story line could've been a little better. What better than to have the Suave finesse of Brad and the Sexy attitude of Angelina on the same project. They definitely did their jobs on this one and the fact that the emotions were legit made their roles and the dialogue that much more authentic.

I thought this movie was a cute fun movie. It accomplished what it meant to accomplish.

reply

i thought it was a good movie. it wasn't meant to be the most intense action movie of the year and i thought brad was really funny in it. plus angelina is good in like everything she does. im pretty sure she wouldn't be filthy rich if she was the worst actress this side of hollywood like you say

reply

You obviously have never seen Cool World.

Man, that is a BAAADDDDDDD movie.

reply

I didn't much rate AJ in Girl, Interrupted but I liked her in Wanted and Taking Lives.

She's not the greatest actress but she has screen presence and can bring audiences in with little effort.

Brad is a good actor. I thought he was particularly good in Meet Joe Black.

hahah I'VE seen cool world, and i can vouch for that. mr and mrs smith is oscar worthy compared to cool world.

i love cool world, but it's actually the worst movie i've ever seen.

The action scenes in slow motion weren't done to a high level. It was more A Team like. The scenes in the Family wagon were well written I thought. They were the most fun for me. The whole actor for the father at the wedding. The car chase with the three BMWs was well done. The fight between Brad and Angelina was long and the department store scenes were too stupid. On the other hand the house blew up real good. Nice explosion and nice scale...

But in general the action scenes were filler. I LOVED The Wild Bunch and any peckinpah movie ok. I like the ole ultra violence... but compare this action with Eraser or True Lies. They look like Fellini masterpieces in comparison. But you can't argue with the box office. Nice.

Brad and Angelina really are loved by the camera. They could have these two doing a remake of My dinner with Andre and it would probably do terrific B.O.

I think Brad Pitt was great in this movie. He demonstrated great comic timing and sense of humour.

xX-LankanPsycho-Xx: I agree completely with you.

Brad Pitt was wasted in this poor action movie. However, an inept and childish script and lack of a co-star who can act at his level didn't help, either. When you look at his body of work to date, he is so much better than his performance indicated in this movie (which I gave 4/10 stars for the special FX).

Brad Pitt deserved the best actor award for his work in 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' and, at least, the best supporting actor award for his role in 'Meet Joe Black.'
