'I have a BMW SUV and I like driving it!' *shove*

This movie is hilarious. Mark Wahlberg had me rolling in that scene.

I love this movie too. Some people do not share our enjoyment, which is fine because to each their own. I do not understand the visceral hate some people have however. I get not liking a film, but methinks people must be threatened on an emotional level to care so much as to come onto a board to trash this film. I don't like plenty of things. I don't compound that waste of time by pissing about them into cyberspace...but I digress.

Wahlberg definitely carries the film. "We have a dangerous petroleum crisis!". I think it is a triumph to a certain sensibility. People who like Royal Tenenbaums, Rushmore, Bored to Death, or the Life Aquatic. Personally this movie feels like eating candy. Delicious to the last drop.

On another note, Jude Law's character isn't lovable, but I find his performance to be inspired. Especially in the scene where Hoffman/Tomlin update him on his case (call him on his sh!t), his emotional range and development in that 1 scene is epic and impressive.

Have u ever transcended space & time? Yes. No. Uh time, not space. No, I dont knw wht ur talkng abt

Agreed. It's a bit weird to harbor such animosity towards a freaking movie.

"She said 'fvckabees'"
"There's glass between us!"

This movie is FULL of amazing one-liners.

Agree wholeheartedly with your assessment of Jude Law's performance in the "calling him on his sh!t" scene.

Also - Lily Tomlin is a god.

That is all.
