Did anyone feel sorry for Brianna & Gabriella at the end?

I know they were mean to Sam throughout the movie, but did anyone else feel bad for them at the end when they ended up having to do manual labor at the diner?

It's kind of similar to the argument of whether two wrongs make a right. Is treating them poorly any different than what they & Fiona did to Sam?

In a way I am. Their spoiled and selfish behavior was all their mother's fault.

Usually kids who grow up with parents like Fiona, most likely grow up the same way. I'm sure as kids, they probably didn't hate Sam at first, but their selfish mom probably brainwashed them into it. Hence why she let them sleep in Sam's room.

Forever, I sympathize more with Anastasia and Drizella in the Disney version cause they had it worse. (Especially Anastasia). For one thing, they were far uglier and clumsier.

I got the impression there are at least three bedroom in the house not counting the attic. When Sam's dad was alive, she had one of the three bedroom their parents had the master bedroom and the remaining bedroom were the stepsisters' bedroom. After the dad died I assumed one of the girls moved into Sam's room

Manual labor? Clearing dirty dishes from tables is manual labor?
