A challenging movie with weighty gems to mine

I know most people don't like this movie and pan it, and I can understand why: Despite the all-star cast, the storytelling bogs down in places, but that's because this is not a movie focused on plot & pace.

Rather it's a genuine look at the characters and their loving relationships. It's a revelation about love in its myriad forms: From (1.) Kathy Bates' character seeking the love of her daughter to (2.) Harvey Keitel's parental love for the actress to (3.) the sibling love of the silent twins to (4.) the love of God portrayed by the nuns & Juniper to (5.) God's love for humanity.

Yet there's more, waaay more... for those who are intrigued enough to take the challenge.
