Any news on a DVD release?

I had a couple episodes on tape and then they were taped over....any news on a DVD release? It is er, criminal, that we can't see this piece

reply

Not as far as I know, but I'm currently watching it on Telewest's Teleport TV service, and it's just as good as I remember it.

what a weird coincidence. i havent heard or thought about this brilliant show in years, and for some reason whilst trawling imdb decided to look up buried and found out one of the very few posts about it was only 8 hours ago and apparently it is being shown currently. can you tell me any more about where it is showing?

cheers.

reply

I agree. I watched this seriers religiously when it was first broadcast but unfortunately missed the final episode.

Must be imminent. I am a member of love film and they have it now on their reserve list. No date as of yet but I think it's coming.
Does anybody know why there was only 1 season?

reply

Anyone got a dvd quality copy of the series?

I recorded it in very high VHS. But I'm missing one episode

There was only one season because although it was excellent and recieved good reviews, the morons at CH 4 hid it away on a 22:30 slot on a Monday night, so it didn't attract big ratings.

A 21:00 slot would have been more appropriate and accesible for people. CH 4 invested a lot of time and money in it, so their thinking behind the time slot is bizarre.

Can you believe it also won a bafta?

And still no dvd, is there any petitions for a dvd release?
