Things in this film that make no sense (Spoilers!)

I just watched this movie, and enjoyed it too. It was delightfully creepy, the atmosphere was great and the woods were unbelievable. However, the way the characters reacted to all the creepy stuff that happened bothered me a lot.

For instance, Per sees a guy with somekind of a mask bouncing up in front of him at night. He almost pisses himself but doesn't say anything about the incident to others.

When they find the dead girl from the lake the men just decide to carry on their weekend. Lasse wants to inform the police but gives up after a little chat. I believe that finding a dead body is somewhat a disturbing experience and no one would like to just keep on camping after a thing like that. Not even for a dream job of a lifetime.

Per goes missing and doesn't show up even when it gets dark. Lasse finds his keys and everything, so he hasn't gone home. Other characters are a bit dumbfounded, but that's it. After a while we see Lasse and Sara smoking cigarettes and laughing. And all this after they have also found their cabin with all the weird stuff inside it.

And the job they were after must have been one hell of a job, if they want to work for a boss who acts as strangely as Gunnar does.

It's just a film, of course, and everything is not supposed to make perfect sense. But still, this film could had been scripted better. Now it feels like the film-makers saw Blair Witch Project and thought "Man, those woods are nothing if you compare them with ours" and decided to make a horror film showing some nice norwegian forests.
