The intro to the film includes a version of 'My Generation' sung in French, as if to emphasise the film's Euro theme. This is confusing as The Who are an English band, so the original is already a European song? I'm just being a pedant, but the implied message is interesting.

It's the same as with Patrick Steward being a Frenchman in ST:TNG althouh he's English anyway, drinks tea and brags about Admiral Nelson in the show :))) They just don't consider UK as European as, say, France is I guess...
