Do you think he was having a 'bad trip' the whole time?
Okay, it WAS a bad trip, but like.. a 'bad trip'
He was hallucinating. The rednecks probably werent real. The wolves werent. The spider wasnt. The drivers werent dead. It was all in his mind.

That's the only way the movie makes any sense to me. I came here to ask that. I was just thinking he was high but not necessarily bad high. And "trip" implies LSD. I was thinking he was stoned. Maybe the joint the fake hippie shared was laced with LSD?
shareIt's based on a Stephen King story, it doesn't have to make sense. No i definitely don't think he was tripping.

It seemed to be more like he had some very vivid daydreams most of the time, like the one he had as his younger self at the amusement park with his mom). He didn't really seem like he was tripping, or even much of a stoner at all.
shareI agree, supernatural things happen in his books.
shareI figured-and would have actually preferred-if the whole trip was a dream while he was in a hospital bed after his suicide attempt
Hey wait
Great smile
Sensitive to faith, not denial
But hey whose on trial?
