Incredible movie - all should watch who want brainy excitement

I really like this movie.

it has theatre, suspense, magic, love, sorrow...

Note the acting is a little stilted (i have seen smoother acting in genres like A chinese ghosyt story)but it is grand to see studios turning out movies like this. This movie has a bit of a shakespearean air to it so it caries it self by dialogue and really good acting by the lead actor who is a master of the stage.

i think everyone should watch this who is after a movie full of excitement and puzzles. lovely costumes too!

also thought this movie was incredible -- have seen it numerous times [ anytime it is on the cable movie channels & also recall having had it ' dvr'd ]

although am [ almost completely ] unfamiliar w/ japanese theater / movie was surprised by the ersatz femininity of abe no semei & the [ ? ] sexual tension between him & lord hiromasa

strongly recommend [ ! ]

I also think this movie is great fun and not boring at all. It has an innocent air about it that I find very appealing. And such a unique story! However, I was a bit disappointed with the second one - Omniyoji II. I feel they over-feminized Abe no Seimei. I dont know if that was factual or artistic license, but it skewed my feelings as I found his masculinity so attractive. And I dont agree with what some people are calling "sexual tension between him and Hiromasa". I just feel they were very dear friends - nothing sexual.

I thought the story great but everything else awful.

A few effects and props were decent but most were terrible or even laughable. And the acting!!! I've seen some of the actors before in other projects -- so I know what they are capable of. This was bad.
