Saw this for the first time last night partly ...

and it just really didn't interest me at all - I switched the TV over to soemthing else after nearly 30 mins in. The slapstick humour fell flat and the story was just non engaging.

Does it get better after a while? anyone?

No. Watching this movie is like being lost in the woods at night. You just want to curl up in a ball and cry.

The last hour or so is awesome. But most probably won't stick around to see it. Everything begins to click when it gets to the enchanted forest story line. Probably because the focus of the movie turns to the mystery of the surrounding the missing girls. A lot of action and incidental stuff that makes the story pretty compelling and good.

I watched it for the first time to on TV on Tuesday
Personally i was surprised at how much i enjoyed it. I do like a lot of Gilliam films so maybe that swung it more for me i don't know, i just thought it was just dark enough and just enough humour in it. Peter Stormare was brilliant in it to, very funny when his wig fell off! I wasn't expecting that.
I just think when you compare it to drivel like chronicles of Narnia or dungeons and dragons its a great film.
Better than Sleepy Hollow to imo

yeah, better than any of burtons fantasy stuff.

cool thing is that I was constipated, with not a hope of having a bowel movement!

But Matt Damon's libtard acting did it for me again and I defacated all over my couch with about 6 minutes to go in the movie!

WAY TO GO MATT... ODUMBA RULES!
