Other dark fairy tales???

Can anybody recommend any other dark fairy tale films like this? I was fairly unenthusiastic going into this as Im not really a fan of any of the lead actors, although I have to say, Peter Stormare steals the show and hes always awesoem to see even in bit parts. Anyways, I found myself really enjoying the movie.

I liked the version of Snow White with Sigourney Weaver and have always enjoyed different variations on Grimms tales, (Tanith Lee had some really interesting ones if I remember right.) among others and was hoping there were more movies like this out there. So, anybody have some suggestions?

There was another one with the theme of Little Red Riding Hood but I can't remember what it was called. It involved werewolves and um....really freaked me out as a kid. XD

But it was definitely a fairy tale and definitely dark. Doesn't even end 100% well for everyone either.

I really can' think of any others, but you *may* enjoy Sleepy Hollow, Stardust, or Pan's Labyrinth because of the dark fairy tale feel. Sleepy Hollow being your best bet.

All the above mentioned ones are good.
I would suggest The 10th Kingdom but its not really dark, but it does include many fairytales.

It's funny how the colors of the real world only seem really real when you viddy them on the screen
