first of all, the characters mumbled in foreign accents so much i had to turn on the subtitles (and i have excellent hearing, especially for accents).

second of all, the audio switched from unintelligible mumbling to outrageous shrieking so often that i had to turn the volume way up and way down every 10 seconds. eventually i just muted it with the subtitles on.

unfortunately, the subtitles were mistimed by about 0.5 seconds, which also was grating.

i guess the technical guys just phoned it in.

Agreed! Diff. between the spoken "normal" dialogue was way too low and then BAM som load sound bangs in and I had to quickly down the volume. All the way through the movie. Two thumbs down to the tech guys.
