horrible, one of the worst flicks I've ever seen

I had the more than doubtful pleasure to watch "The Brothers Grimm" on television yesterday night.

Putting aside the fact that most movies who have English as their original language simply don't work with voice-overs anyways, The Brothers Grimm su*ked big time in all other categories as well.

Starting with the overall very, very poor cast, to the shockingly cheap looking environments and shots, through to Matt Damon's worst performance I've ever witnessed.
I am especially disappointed of director Terry Gilliam, who, more surprisingly, was the one who wrote the screenplay to Fear And Loathing in Las Vegas.
One surely could have expected a bit more.

I mean, that movie looked just like one of those cheap Czech fairy-tale movies from the seventies, where you occassionally see strings and where the monsters look like sh*it-faced with carnival costumes taken from the hook at the farthest end of their closet...

"Brothers Grimm" is clearly a DON'T.
I'd give brothers grimm an outright -10, if there existed a negative star ranking.

horrible.

Too be honest your discription makes teh film sound really good.

Czech fairy-tale, carnival costumes.. fantastic.

I have seen the film is it wasn't' nearly as bad as people cliam it too be,
i guess most people wanted a more rounded Hollywood flick than something a bit more imaginative.
