5.9???

I actually really enjoyed this movie. I wonder why people hate it so much.
I liked the concept and the preformances. I thought it was extremely entertaining.

Nothing before 2008 has fared well. Movies like this were considered successful and hits and now they have bad reviews and bad ratings.

What in the world? Look at the IMDb top 250 and you'll find there is a rating bias towards older films more than anything else.

Getting back to The Brothers Grimm, this movie was not at all a success critically or commercially when it came out. Critically it has a sub 40% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and commercially it lost roughly 50 million dollars per the figures listed on the IMDb profile. I think you are conflating the ideas of having big stars and a well-known director with "successful hits".... two different things that don't always align!

Just finished watching this load of manure on Netflix. An absolutely atrocious film.

Monotonous.
Lame.
Apathetic.
Juvenile.

Just a few of the words that popped into my head as I forced myself thru this abomination.

Anyone who actually graded this above a 5 should have their IMDb privileges revoked.

5.9 isn't a bad score. Personally, I think it's a pretty generous score for this movie. Watchable, but far from great.

Then kinda all marvel movies should have 5,9

I'm asking the same thing, I have my complaints with it, but it was a fun movie, not saying it's a 10, but definitely not 5.9, maybe a 7?
