This movie was not very "Hellraiser" like, by not including the true Pinhead, true Hell, etc. It's kind of like the last movie, "Hellraiser: Deader." I read somewhere that it was a completely different movie, and then at the last minute, they added in Pinhead and called it a "Hellraiser" movie.
However, the movie overall was not a bad movie. It was a clever revenge picture, initiated by an infuriated and maniacal father. Sure, it was a drama/thriller with a "Hellraiser" logo, and Pinhead was hardly in it, but this is not one of the worst horror movies I've ever seen. On the contrary, it was pretty good, just doesn't deserve to be in the "Hellraiser" box set.

No, this movie is utterly ludicrous. There wasn't a moment of caring for any of the characters, poor MTV editing, dumb plot, this movie was just so bad.

They even mistakenly call the box the Lamont configuration, woops, it was first called the Lament configuration in part 5. Obviously they tried to make an homage film for the fans without actually knowing the material.

It was just okay... I liked that it didn't focus on Pinhead and the Cenobites as much. Lance Henrickson is always entertaining. I thought the Revenge subplot was semi-interesting. Plus I liked the fact it broke the 4th wall about the Franchise itself. Not a perfect movie but I wasn't mad at myself for watching it either.

Finally watched this movie and enjoyed it more than I thought I would. It's a fun, gory film, with likable leads in Chelsea and Jake, a good twist with the revenge theme, and a happy ending. I also liked that it was linear, not the usual a dream within a dream within a dream which makes it really confusing. This would probably be my fifth favourite in the franchise.

Hellbound
Hellseeker
Hell On Earth
Hellworld
Inferno
Revelations
Inferno
Deader

It's one of those days...

Inferno is better than Revelations, but also worse?

But otherwise I pretty much agree with that ranking.
