Some People gave this a ten - why?

Seriously what's up with that? Is it plausible that some actually think that a turd like this is actually the greatest movie ever made? Or is it some misguided loyalty to an abused franchise that is propped up in IMDB rankings by false scores.

Either way I just don't get it.

Maybe because in the end there's a happy couple (which itself doesn't make much sense, when you think about it.I mean, they weren't remotely interested in each other during the film, but hey, happy ending!) driving towards the sunset? )))
Seriously though,I liked, how they attempted to twist the story in the end,but other then that the movie was pretty much s**t. Maybe,if someone didn't bother to think it over he was all like "Wow,what a twist! 10/10!" :)

I've read somewhere that a lot of people just vote movies a 10 or 1 without even considering a score in between. Supposedly IMDB's calculation of a movie's overall score accounts for this and most of the 1's and 10's are ignored in the tally. So I've heard.

Very few movies deserve a 10, and no way in hades this crap should be getting one. If I were in it myself I wouldn't give it a 10. At best it deserves a 4.

I know a lot of people didn't like this film but I guess I could say I enjoyed it. But this film by no means deserves a 10, I would give it a 6/10.

It took me years to get around to watching this one, but when I did it wasn't too bad. It's better than a lot of people say, but I don't think it's worth a 10/10.

Just watched this movie expecting it to be crap, but I actually found myself enjoying it and now I can't understand the hate it seems to get. I'm guessing one of the reasons is that it isn't a proper "Hellraiser" film, but really after "Bloodline" what has been? I went into the movie guessing it was just another cheap horror movie that added Pinhead and the Hellraiser mythology to the script to cash in on the franchise and in doing so I was able to enjoy it as just another cheap horror film. Also the “meta” aspect informed me it was in no way gonna be a proper Hellraiser film (Like New Nightmare is not a proper Nightmare on Elm Street film) and so interested into where they were gonna go.

I rated it a decent 5/10 as it was a decent movie, but how anyone could rate it a 10 I don't know, I agree it must be some misguided sense of loyalty or idiocy, I'd like to see what their other ratings look like.
