Never liked the idea of Slam Poetry (but seems like an intresting film)

Many may disagree (or many may agree) with me that slam poetry seems to focus too much on the style of the person reciting the poetry rather than the content of the poem. It seems sometimes in the realm of slam poetry (not all the time, thank God) that you need to have an almost rap-like quality in your poem if you ever hope to get into the second round of any competition. This pretty much disqualifies anyone else who may have a good message in their words, but can't articulate it to the specific, single minded way the judges want it to be in their minds.

Well, other than that rant, I hope it's a good film. One of my favorite actors is in it (Tucker Smallwood), so I might as well see it for that.
