Anyone offended by the contempt towards 'cartoons?'

First of all, I was a bit confused by what "cartoon" or "tegneserie" meant. I didn't know whether Lars meant something along the lines of caricatures, like those of Cantinflas, or simply just animated. Apparently it was the latter.

What really struck me was the segment where Lars states that he was "amused" by the guy taking off & putting back on his jacket. Was "amused" translated correctly there?
