Devil's Harvest budget

IMDB give an estimate of £800,000 for this film. The Times (Nov. 18th. 1995 give the budget as £15,000 - who is right?

I'd have thought that it was in the region of £40,000 - £50,000 in the end but the money came through in bits and pieces with several re-shoots and extras filmed well after principal photography wrapped. I should know - I worked on this film.
I know that it's far from the best film ever made but it was shot by a very small crew (about 15 max and 4 min) who had little 35mm experience over a long, long period of time. I was an undergraduate when filming started so I commuted from Exeter where I lived and studied to Apley and Greenham (both near Wellington) to shoot in my free time (and some time when I should heve been in lectures) with the rest of the crew. We would often have to stop filming as we would run out of film stock mid-shot and have to wait for more to be purchased in London. The crew were not paid and the whole film was done on a complete shoestring - the helecopter hired for about an hour was probably our biggest extravigance. Hope this answers your question!

Yeah, what he said! And we only paid about £50 for the helicopter's petrol expenses. The guy had just won an Academy Award for "Braveheart" and was feeling charitable, bless him.
