Series 1 changes between first and second DVD releases

I bought series 1 of 15 Storeys High about 7 or 8 years ago.
I then finally got round to buying the series 1&2 set, after it became apparent that series 2 would never be released on its own. Having watched it I've noticed some changes that were made on the second release of the first series.
Firstly the order of the episodes have changed; episodes 4 and 5 have swapped around. Maybe there's a reason for this, but I couldn't see one.
There are also some music changes; most notably in the Pool Kids episode where Errol meets the former Bond girl. This is likely due to licensing issues. The first DVD was released by Carlton, while the second release was by 2 Entertain; perhaps that has something to do with it.
In the first DVD (and presumably the original broadcast) they used the actual Shirley Bassey theme from Goldfinger, but the newer one has a James Bond theme sound-alike instead. (This actually makes less sense in the context of the episode, as if Errol is unable to recognise the woman from all her clues about Goldfinger, he's probably still going to be none the wiser if he hears some generic spy music).
Also in the Pool Kids episode, the final scene where Vince is banging on the wall after watching The Shining has been altered so that the sky outside is now dark instead of daylight, to match the sky outside his next door neighbour's flat which is also dark at the same time. This is presumably to correct a continuity error, as it is apparent the scenes of Vince's flat and his neighbour's are happening at the same time, as the opera music playing acts as a sound bridge between the two scenes. I never noticed this continuity error before, and it only became apparent to me due to the noticeable digital effect used to create the night-time backdrop in the altered scene for the new DVD.
What's also worth mentioning is that the opera music in said scene has also been changed between the two DVD releases. Therefore I think it may have been easier to just shift the music on, or switch to another piece of music, when cutting between the shots of the neighbour's flat and Vince's, so it would appear that music has been playing all through the night. That way they could have left the sky as daylight in the latter scene without having a continuity error. At least, that's what I think.
Eh eh.
