relation to movie

On the box and the game it says X2 everywhere.

In the film Stryker 'creates' Wolverine and his adamantium.

But in the game he isn't in it.

What's up with that? And who was in charge of weapon X in the comics?

I may be wrong but Logan was working for an agency in canada called department H and several people admiinistered the project in which adimantium was grafted to his skeleton. The Proffesor, like in the game, was the original designer and leader of the project in the comics, aling with the other two scientists feattured in the game. Striker, I believe, is either a more modern comic character or is just made up to make the movie quicker. And no one "created" him. He was born with claws. Bone claws. And he was born with a feral instinct. The only thing they did was make him indestructable.

The Colt M1911A1 .45 ACP is the greatest handgun ever made.

Actually he was kidnapped by the Proffessor first, given the Adamantium skeleton, escapes from the proffessor, and then ends up joining Department H.

William Stryker in the comics is a vehement anti-mutant religious leader from Marvel Graphic Novel #1: X-Men God Loves Man Kills. He has no special relation to Wolverine. Name was taken for the X2 character.
