what alternate ending??
Hi! I watched the movie and the ending really sucked.I heard their was an alternative ending that was better.Can someone tell me what happens in the alternative ending?Thanks in advance!

The difference was that the little sister came down stairs just like the regular ending but then the show the coffee table and the headlines read "Man arrested for posing as teacher in local high school" and it shows a pic of the Guidance Counsler or whatever he was Cambell. Maybe they showed it to try and make you think he brainwashed the kid to become the wisher, or maybe it was just for a suprise. Also cut out the part where you could see the wisher through the window. They show the window shot again but no wisher. Also shows a flash of the wisher cutting himself up. Just the same footage as when he did it at the end of the film.
Shame they cut it, that guy was my first suspect. There was something definitely odd about him.
shareYou are wise to suspect him because whenever Ron Silver appears in a film, there's generally a late plot development in which he is the baddie. I'm surprised it didn't happen here (except in the alternative ending).
